This is a series of paintings that considers the interplay between layers of colour, painstakingly applied with a brush.
This work stems from Alexey’s interest in the relationships between simple shapes, volumes painted in a limited range of colors. He tends to create a response to his past in the present environment, like a visual diary of circumstances, and inspiration for these objects comes from Russian Suprematism
